What we collect

When you contact us: your name, company, email address, company website, role, and the free-text details of your inquiry. We use this to prepare a quote and reply to you. Nothing more is required to get a price.

We also hold business contact details for companies we may approach about supply. What that covers, and where it comes from, is set out below.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and how fast it loads. These are privacy-friendly and do not set advertising cookies, build a profile of you, or record your session. We do not run ad trackers, and we do not sell or share your data.

How we handle inquiries

Form submissions are delivered to us by email through Web3Forms, and we may receive an internal notification through Slack. We use your details only to respond to your request and, if we end up working together, to keep records of that supply relationship. We keep the data for as long as it is useful for that correspondence and delete it on request.

If we contacted you first

We approach companies that supply, hire out, install or operate power equipment, and companies whose sites run on standby power. If you received a message from us and had not been in touch before, this section is the one that applies to you.

Where we got your details. From publicly accessible sources: business directories, trade registers, exhibitor lists, and companies’ own websites. We did not buy your details and we did not take them from a private account.

What we hold. Company name, business address and city, the business telephone number and email address published for that company, the sector it works in, and where applicable the name and job title of a person published by the company as a contact.

Why we are allowed to. For company-level details such as a switchboard number or a role mailbox, our legitimate interest in offering a supply relationship to a business likely to want one, under Article 6(1)(f). Where the details identify a person, we rely on the same basis and only where that person’s published role is connected to buying, specifying or operating this kind of equipment. You can ask us for our assessment.

How long we keep it. Until you tell us to stop, or until the company stops being a plausible fit, and no longer than 24 months from the last contact. If you object, we keep only the minimum needed to make sure we do not contact you again.

Making it stop. Reply to any message from us with the word STOP, or write to the address below. There is nothing to justify and no form to fill in. We act on it and we do not write again.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to restrict or object to how we use it. Email and we will respond within 30 days.

Where we rely on legitimate interest you can object at any time. If the objection is to direct marketing we stop, with no balancing exercise and no exceptions.
